The best thing about this wimberley plate is it lowers centre of gravity of a Big lens on a gimbal or fluid head AND it still works as a carrying handle. I cant see the point of the original bracket being three inches high .

Compact ; Good Footing ; Lightweight ; Locks In Tight ; Reasuringly expensive
