Sony's LF-S50G speaker will be available in October for $199.99. We're looking forward to seeing how it stacks up against the Google Home in real-world testing, not to mention Amazon's Alexa-powered lineup, and Apple's HomePod when it comes out later...

The Sony LF-S50G speaker has a lovely design. It's small, it's subtle and based on our experience with it, it appears to manage to produce a decent sound from its compact body.
