Contour's excellent entry-level action cam gets better with the Roam3

With some slight design tweaks and improved waterproofing, this POV camera is ready for action in and out of the water.

The Contour Roam3 is waterproof down to 30 feet (10m) without a housing; it has a rotating lens with laser alignment so your video is straight; it has Contour's Trail mount as well as a standard tripod mount; and the big slider gets you recording...

Though its battery can last up to 3.5 hours, it's not removable and a full charge takes about 3 hours. It has no screen or option for a screen, and without Wi-Fi or Bluetooth you can't wirelessly preview or view video on a mobile device.

All the features that make Contour's action cams excellent are here in its entry-level Roam3. While it's not loaded with extras, it's one of the best you'll find for its price.

Contour Roam3

Contour hevder å ha laget sitt beste kamera hittil. Og det er ikke småtteri, for det er nemlig billig.

God videokvalitet. Kan brukes på 10 meters dyp uten undervannshus. Gode innstillingsmuligheter via datamaskin, og objektiv er 270 grader dreibart med lasersikte

Alle innstillinger må gjøres med kameraet tilkoblet PC eller Mac. Kameraet kan ikke styres med mobiltelefon, og det mangler søker. Elendig lyd må også nevnes

Lydkvaliteten er dessverre elendig. Lyden er tynn, og altfor lav. Man kan dra den opp i etterproduksjon, men da får man også med en god del bakgrunnsstøy. Hvis god lyd på opptakene er viktig, bruk diktafon, eller legg musikk på opptaket.

Test av Contour Roam 3

Countour hävdar att det här är deras bästa kamera hittills. Och det är inga dåliga lovord, för den är billig.

Hög videokvalitet. Kan användas ner till 10 meters djup utan undervattenshus. Bra inställningar via dator och objektivet är vridbart 270 grader med lasersikte.

Alla inställningar måste göras med kameran inkopplad till PC eller Mac. Kameran kan inte styras från mobiltelefon och saknar sökare. Uselt ljud, måste nämnas.

A Contour tem tido uma história atribulada nos últimos tempos, mas o que interessa é que a marca está de regresso e com um modelo que resolve alguns dos problemas de um dos seus modelos anterior: a Contour Roam 3.

Sem saída HDMI ; Sem WiFi/Bluetooth
